Being part of a government agency doesn't necessarily make people dream. Heavy processes, high politics, lack of opportunity, reluctance to change ... these are some of the things that come to mind. At Pole emploi, the French government agency for employment, we have a totally different story!
In the last 24 months, we've transformed the way we work using the Scaled Agile Framework. To help with the transformation, we are also using UX practices, design thinking and lean start-up methods.
By the end of this session, you will understand how we have leveraged UX practices, innovation games and design sprints to improve the maturation of the business needs and their prioritisation to best fit what our users want and deliver value in a continuous flow.
Cécile is a change agent, helping teams move to agile with scrum, kanban and the Scaled Agile Framework. She has a background as a business analyst, scrum master and project manager with CMMi on IT development projects in a wide variety of business applications. She is also a trainer in agile methodologies, project management and requirements gathering. Cécile shared the learnings of the early transformation at events in France in 2016.
Rachel and Cécile are internal agile coaches for the IT department of the National Agency for Employment in France (Pole emploi). They belong to a team of 4 coaches that support our teams on the implementation of agile methods (XP, scrum, kanban), and agile at scale (SAFe).
