This tutorial will provide insight into Auto Trader’s latest exploits to do the right thing, right. We’ve come on a huge journey, from print to digital, and the next part of our journey has been around how we work in a more agile way across our entire business, not just in our product and tech squads.
But rather than hire in consultants to tell us what to do next, which we have done before, we instead asked 'What would happen if we consolidated all of the brilliant ways of working and thinking that go on (in pockets), here?'
Come along and find out how we took feedback from over 100 Auto Trader employees to develop our own way of doing things - the Auto Trader Way. We will introduce and in groups have a go at using our own take on a project canvas and show you how it’s helping to drive better outcomes. We hope you’ll join us!
Calum has been working at Auto Trader for 6 years and has seen the business transform from a print and digital to purely digital outfit.
The company has come on leaps and bounds in that time and Calum's journey as a delivery lead has taken in some of the latest industry thinking, including breaking big teams into small squads, dual-track agile, lean UX and now, Auto Trader's boldest move yet, helping the entire business turn agile and become more data focused.
Mike is a technical lead at Auto Trader. He’s taken part in the business’s transition from a process heavy mixed-media company to a much leaner and agile digital business.
He’s recently been working closely with colleagues to see how many of the agile ideas can be applied to areas of the business that have not traditionally been exposed to them.
