About this Workshop

We're going to practice one of the best techniques, not just for learning but feeling agile principles. Once we've done that, we'll attempt one of the biggest games ever - all in under an hour.

Many agile practitioners will be familiar with the ball point, or ball flow, game - a simple and fun way to teach groups fundamental agile concepts such as self-organisation, iteration and velocity.

The ball point may be used as a tool to teach more than the basics and because of its fun nature it brings willingness to learn and improved absorption of knowledge.

During this workshop, we look at how to set up and facilitate the ball flow game to give maximum value to participants, including priming them for learning. We then introduce other agile concepts that can be taught using simple extensions to the game.

If you haven’t played before, you’ll learn techniques to help explain and feel agile principles. If you have played before, you’ll get a chance to hone your skills and experiment with scale and teaching others.
