About the session

Agile on the Bench is a friendly, low-fi, lunchtime, outdoor, agile meetup. Expect short fun talks about all things agile, people, teams, users and getting things done… on a bench. Being outside means no tech, there are no laptops or projectors, just the speakers, the attendees and lots of fantastic ideas.

Agile on the Bench is a community event run by agile people for agile people (and passing joggers). It ran between 2014 and 2017 and is back for a one-off special.

Your hosts are Emily Webber and Cara Bermingham. For more info head to agileonthebench.co.uk

Day Two

Holly Catling - Why accidentally starting a speech with “hello potatoes” was my first step on the road to Agile delivery.

When I graduated from university I decided, for no really good reason, to nip off to Japan to teach English for a year. I couldn’t speak Japanese, had never been to Japan, and had no teaching experience at all. So this seemed an excellent idea. It also turned out to be good preparation for my then unknown future as a Delivery Manager.

Ceri Newton-Sargunar - Shortening team feedback loops

A brief exploration of two new tools that can help you and your team reach ultimate meta by iterating your own process, Agilifying your agile, and using the shortest possible feedback loops.
