About the session

We're going to try something different to close this year's Agile Cambridge. It's an opportunity to draw upon the cognitive wealth of the conference, the range and depth of knowledge, style and creativity of everyone. We’re going to use this to gain insights and ideas for some of our communities’ most vexing problems.

This collaborative session will draw heavily and the World Cafe Format, with some inspiration from other Liberating Structures.

Topics will be surfaced and agreed while the conference is in progress, they may be concepts covered by talks or new areas to explore. Working together we'll expand and consolidate our knowledge ready to make a difference when we get back to work.

During the session topics will be discussed by small groups, with opportunities to change and flow through groups, encouraging diversity of thought, different perspectives and a chance to meet new people. After discussions insights and ideas will be shared to help uncover patterns and trends.

This session will use a world cafe format. There will be a call for co-hosts, and a primer will be available, it’s a marvellous opportunity to try something new in a safe, supportive and fun space.

Weather (and a few other logistics) permitting we’ll hold the session on the lawn.
