“Are we (ever) there yet?”: Working through complex change in a large organisation

It might feel daunting sometimes to participate in a conference where every speaker seems to have a perfectly polished agile implementation.

Not all organisations have “cracked it” - This session will tell the story of a 177-year-old organisation’s agile journey so far, its context and systemic challenges, and some of the wins along the way.

Challenges faced include complex hardware interdependencies, distributed teams, the large-scale organisational structure, and the clash of non- and digital-first cultures, even as they continue to build and improve their world-class microscopy products.
