About the session
Note: this session runs for 90 minutes + 20 minutes for afternoon break.
Working in groups to get things done you likely experience some challenging feelings – things like: disillusionment, anxiety, frustration, disappointment, boredom. But what if these emotions weren’t problems, but signals for what needs your attention? What if they could give you a clear felt sense of what is needed to move things forward?
This session will remind you of what your body already knows – that when we stay present we can bypass over-analysis. Instead, it becomes obvious to us what we need to do next.
Participant takeaways:
Appreciate the messy reality of getting things done in groups as not a failure but the nature of how collaboration works
Access wisdom in your visceral experiences (including challenging emotions)
To look at a real situation and find a conversation that you are confident will move things forward
Themes:
Leadership, Emotional intelligence, Empathy, Facilitation, Group dynamics, Collaboration
