About the session
Note: this session runs for 120 minutes + 30 minutes for afternoon break.
Our differences in opinion, experience and approach can be a difficult source of tension in teams, and if ignored and overlooked people will feel demotivated, excluded and undervalued.
At the same time, conflict can also be important to help us grow and find the best solutions.
In this session, we’ll explore what unhealthy or healthy conflict looks like - and how your own experiences of conflict shape the way you engage when there is disagreement within a team. And how to ensure you’re building environments where everyone can work together towards shared goals.
Participant takeaways:
- Understand what has shaped your experiences of conflict
- Identify your teams' relationship with conflict
- Use conversational frameworks and facilitation practices in both group and 1-2-1 settings to improve your team's interactions with one another
Themes:
Culture, Liberating structures, Decision making, Conflict, Communication
This session:
- Includes interaction
- Has a session cap of 40 participants
