About the session
Theme: Collaboration | People
Many teams run health checks but struggle to turn the results into meaningful change. In this practical workshop, you will explore how to interpret health check signals, map the constraints influencing team behaviour and design small, safe-to-fail experiments that your teams can try straight away.
After a short introduction to common health check approaches, you’ll work in groups to turn example results into a simple constraint map and create one or two experiments you can take back to your own environment.
You’ll leave with practical tools to use regular health checks to build a culture of experimentation.
Participant takeaways:
- A practical method for turning health check signals into meaningful constraints that shape team behaviour
- A simple constraint mapping technique that helps teams focus on changes that are achievable and worthwhile
- A clear approach for designing safe-to-fail experiments using a probe, sense and respond pattern
- Practical steps for using regular health checks to create an ongoing culture of experimentation rather than a scoring exercise
